“VELO television” is a show about bikes and the people who ride them.
We are more than just a cable tv program. We are a clearinghouse for all things cycling. That’s why, here at the home office, we spend most days out on two wheels. Our tireless research in the areas of road, track, mountain, cyclocross, fixed gear, touring and tandem riding are all for you. Our commitment to the principles you hold dear force us to get up every morning and shave our legs with pride, in the hopes that the road will rise to meet us.
“VELO television” can be found on Comcast SportsNet. We will begin airing our brand of cyclo-info-tainment this spring in the Northwest. Our plan is to go national on Comcast by 2009.
So join us for another pedal powered half hour, where the rubber meets road, right here on “VELO television”.
"Since I was six, I have loved bicycles in all aspects from the initial fascination of bmx, to the refined attitude of road cycling, around to the internal pleasure of commuting, through the mud and joyous pain of cyclocross, and especially the carefree atmosphere of mountain biking. I have worked in the industry for many years and in that time I have had the opportunity to promote races, officiate races, put on clinics for bike safety to elementary and middle schools, and have worked with many youth organizations to help those with a desire to ride accomplish their dreams. I have even had the opportunity to create and secure funding for a mountain bike recreation area on the Oregon coast. If it has two wheels and is pedal powered, I have fixed it, raced it, or ridden the wheels off of it. " - Chris Murray
